    Today began a month of commitments to SUPER CLEAN EATING AND A PHYSICALLY ACTIVE LIFESTYLE!  I’ve had a great start!  I began the day with 10-15 mins of yoga stretching and ab ex, followed by a breakfast of oatmeal, blueberries, shredded unsweetened coconut, and a medjool date with a bit of unsweetened coconut milk. Three hours later a large chicken breast salad with strawberries, mandarin oranges, avocado, and feta cheese. Two and a half hours later, an apple with raw walnuts.  Three hours later a grilled super lean burger, sweet potato with greek nf plain yogurt and cabbage mix.  Then did a spinning and back strength workout, followed by a natural pb & spreadable fruit sandwich (ezekiel bread) and banana.  Now, I am having my Good Earth spice tea.  Mmmmm……

      My first day went well with food choices,work out and sleep. On to day 2. This Spring Cleaning will be me trying hard to keep on the program. I will miss my glass of red wine 5 nights a week and a little cheese and crackers. Maybe I can replace with a walk or outside activity in the evening as the weather warms up. Here we go!

      Way to go Linda…so what did you do instead of the wine last eve?

      Today I had 2% Greek yogurt with an apple and green tea for breakfast. 2 hours later, I had 2 hard boiled eggs. Lunch will be salmon and a salad. Dinner will be baked skinless chicken breasts, steamed sweet potatoes and a salad. Exercise today will be a 50-min fitness tape. Cindy, I won’t be able to make it Thursday, to the class. Dave is going out of town and Katana is still contagious anyhow :) But I will see you Wednesday.

      My first day went surprisingly well. I must admit I am missing french-vanilla creme in my coffee in the morning, am using milk. Work-out with Cindy and lunch and dinner went well. My biggest struggles will be eliminated sugar and flour, but I will be healthier for it. Sooo here I go…
