This could be the hard part.  The initial rush is over, the toying with our minds in the second week is past, and now we just got to press on, and keep our eyes fixed on the goal.  What is your goal?  Think about it.  Take the steps to make it happen.  Keep your vision of what you want in the long run for yourself.  If you find yourself wanting to take the wrong turn in your nutrition or activity choices, JUST SAY NO!  Give yourself a little pep talk, and PRESS ON!  Everyone in the group who has reported to me has lost some scale weight!  That is awesome!

Sunday I BBQd salmon and vegetables. They were double yum. I didn’t have enough vegetables for lunch work the next, Monday, so I cooked more.

Then last night I BBQd steak and had a potatoe–yes it was small & only 1 which a hugh step. I’ve done this before but the ’self-talk’ was shorter. Self-talk = One potatoe? Two potatoes? One won.

Anyway, my lunch today was not nearly as satisfying as yesterday. The change is I’m noticing beef isn’t as good as it used to be.

The above might make sense to only me but that’s ok.

Yeah for half way!! Actually it has been fine. I am not feeling deprived any more and I’m actually enjoying the way I am eating. I have had a very busy week and have missed a couple exercise times and that has kinda stressed me out, so that is a different feeling for me. am looking forward to getting back into my schedule. Thanks Cindy this has been great!

Good one, Kathy..1 potato, 2 potato, 3 potato, 4….I remember that rhyme! Good for you to have 1…I tend to overeat them too…I had one last night with my chili and the greek yogurt on top…baked potato pile up. Yummy! And Cindy, how cool is that! I am happy you are getting to enjoy eating healthfully. It’s great. I do wish that many will take some of these new found habits and continue on with them.

I’ve been extra tired lately. I didn’t do my workout this morning and by the time I got home I was exhausted AND REALLY hungry.

I’m concerned about being tired in the morning. Maybe all the rain? I’d be fine if I stopped going back to bed.

I think perhaps you need to add more quality food. Hunger is a good sign that things are working…please indulge in some more quality food. Protein and healthy carbs.

Got a job, had a good dinner, walked the dog, good discussion at Book Club about “The Book Thief” and ready to start a new day. Linda
